Didn't know that pets could truly understand? Well how about the ones that TALK BACK?! CHECK IT OUT...
You know... My sister told me back in April that her dog could talk and say certain words. I'll just say that this raised an eyebrow...lol. Sade Rejects Jay-Z Collaboration? (via AHungryNation.com)
She explains to Nelson George, “I’m too scared. They’ll find me out. It’s like The Wizard of Oz. They’ll find out there’s nothing there. As for collaborations, I’m collaborating with the band and do what we do. I see myself as a member of this band who does these songs that we write.”

Making Up For Lost Time
Sooooo... it's been quite some time since my last post, as you all can tell. Lol. And there's good reason. Mainly because.. I'm not a big fan of idle chatter. That's why I don't tweet or update my facebook statuses 50 times a day. When I speak, I'd rather my words resonate with the familiarity of a less heard, but much more powerful drum - than your average snare or kick.
There's been so much going on that.. *yes* I could have posted about. But I chose not to. As I said, I write when inspiration truly hits me... not just to be heard speaking.
Let's start with the recent birth of my firstborn son, Elijah.
He entered the world shortly after midnight on July 26th, 2010. A true Blessing to our family and this world as we know it. Already, his eyes are so bright and full of understanding. His little personality is actually quite big. And, his smile is completely infectious...at two months old. I'm still in awe of this gem that Jennifer and I have created. It's something that I wouldn't give back for the world.
I'm engaged.... Another major step on life's ladder. There was a time in life when I'd discounted the possibility. The price just seemed to high anyway. But here I am making the investement of my life. Life is such a funny thing. Coincidentally I use humor as a backdrop.
I'm still learning everyday... and loving it. Knowledge is and always will be = power. Enough knowledge (combined with understanding) creates wisdom. And wisdom is a Blessing from above. Many people don't survive the wounds attained by learning. Many survive the wounds but still never learn. So I'm Blessed to be able to maintain a steady pace of daily learning, and in return I educate. My parents are educators. One formally and the other spiritually. Some days they switch roles, some days they share them. Most days they laugh straight through, lol. And I thank God for them.
Business is picking up from all angles. The agencies are being notarized more and more with every passing week; city to city and state to state. We're going global. My partners and I still have a Golden Understanding of our goals and we're working relentlessly towards them.
My pen is constantly writing. My ink often times overflows. I've been creating non-stop for the past ten years; from literature to music to business plans, proposals, resumes, and marketing literature. It's sometimes amazing to witness such foolish dedication, spoken from a third person perspective. "What makes you keep going?", is what the non-believers ask. In return I ponder to myself cynically, "What would make a person give up on their dreams?". But there's no time to waste on the negative vibrations.
I created this blog for a reason and that reason was to inspire. To create dialogue. To give you a more personal piece of me than what you can get from a 140 -260 character status update. Thanks for reading.
I'll be making up for lost time from here on out, or at least attempting to. This simply means finding more inspiration. I have alot to offer, and let's face it... you all deserve it. Lol.
Until next time.

Dedication
LOL
It's 1:17 AM EST, and I'm up again working on these sites and blogs. They say "no pain, no gain". Well my joint is definitely in pain from sitting in this chair all these hours on end. So what's the biz? Do I go out for a bit? Get some fresh air? Or do I sit here and complete work that no one else is gonna do if I don't... Hmm? Right. You know I knew the answer to that before I asked it. I think that rhetorical questions are so less-recognized than they should be. They provoke thought. Simple as they may be. They also inspire in many cases. Guess it depends on the person.
I'm tired. Tired of not having left the country in a few. I need a vacation. Badly. But there's a lot that needs to be done before that's gonna happen. And that means no days off. Yes. I've come a long way. No. I'm not where I want to be yet. I'm extremely thankful for having made it this far. But I'm also incredibly anxious to begin my reign at "the top". They say once you get to the top, there's nowhere to go but down again. I guess that would make sense if I saw a limit. Maybe I'm not close enough to the top to visualize a limit. But for some reason, I don't think I'll ever see it. I love life. Even its dark moments. I've survived alot. And learned even more. And yet, I'm still here pushing towards my goals.
Ok, so now I'm wondering why I haven't been blogging all this time. Another funny sort of question that I knew the answer to. Just didn't see the value in it. But it takes time to learn life's lessons, whether big or small. They don't make sense until they make sense. Make sense? Just pray that they DO make sense within a reasonable amount of time. B/c time is the only thing that we can't get back. So I'm dedicated to doing everything that I always wanted to.
I'm dedicated to my True Friends. I learned the difference between those that truly love you and those that love what you can do for them. A True Friend of mine and I - both remember times on different instances when one of us had FIVE dollars left in our pocket. But we were together and both hungry. Instead of one saying "Alright well, I'll see you later. I'm about to go home" (and then going to feed themselves), it was always "Let's go to the pizza shop and get two slices and two slushes. We'll split it." One time I had the five cash left and another time it was him. My brother. I learned then that we were on the same page with no ulterior motives. There was no reason to split $2.50 out of $5.00, other than the fact that neither of us would see the other go hungry. And THAT means alot. So that's my brother. And to be quite honest, a True Friend will show you that friendship can sometimes be a tighter bond even than certain family. I'm sure you can relate. We've been up, we've been down. But never changed.
I'm dedicated to my girl. My lady. My future. Why? B/c she's dedicated to me. Sound selfish? Not so much. Dedication is a two-way street. Now I've had my share of relationships. And I feel like I'm a catch, lol. Nothing wrong with that right? Okay. I drop jewels. Lot of em got left right there on the ground, where I dropped em. Not everybody knows how to appraise them correctly. Simple. And that's cool. Stuff happens. But then I meet the Lady I'm with now. And we figure out exactly where we want to be so fast that it's a bit scary. And we transform a long distance relationship into a sacrifice for love. We both sacrificed things, but I noticed that it took a bigger toll on her, moving away from family, into a lower scaled economy, and things of that nature. And I was making ends meet, but not financially RICH yet. Just climbing my ladder like I'm supposed to. But SHE left a great job, all the family, the friends, and the comfortability of home to come and turn MY house into a home. Now... of course, we're only human and we deal with our stress accordingly. Like humans. We get moody, we fuss, we stay away from each other til things calm down... then we remember love. The love never stops, it just gets blindsided by stress. And coming BACK to your love time and time again is what dedication is all about. NO two people will have a smooth ride, not two strong minded individuals. But that doesn't mean you won't remember at the end of the day who's really there for you. She's the ONLY female that ever sacrificed that much for ya boy. Just up and left.. stepped out on Faith, even after being hurt many times in the past....to start a future. So I'm dedicated to her. That's my baby and I plan to provide for us. I'm dedicated to the notion of us having the dream family. Lol, we already have the dog and the house. Sooooo... maybe I'll have a surprise for ya'll soon.
Dedication.
I'm also dedicated to my New Found Family and new business partners. The phrase "Real Recognize Real" is like a staple in my life. B/c we all have a serious understanding of the other. And we all saw the Real in each other without having known each other for years. And now we're getting ready to start a Dynasty unlike any other. God is Great. So I'm eternally dedicated to Him. I couldn't even put into words the amounts of times He saved me. And so many that I love. I've noticed the mainstream promotion of atheism has gotten so vast in today's society, it's a curious thing to witness. But I'm dedicated to staying Me. And knowing exactly who I am.
Dedication.
